The Seacliff Blanket - Tidewater Blue

My bed is a queen size and I needed a medium weight blanket for the summer months. This looked very attractive and so far I have been pleased with it. The queen size is 90" x 90" and fits perfectly on my bed. I ordered the cream color because it will blend into any decor color scheme. The blanket is very soft and just as stated, so far it does not shed its fibers. But speaking of fibers, I wish I knew what materials comprised this blanket - I could not find that information on the Amazon description, and neither is that information on the tag. It feels like a synthetic of some sort, I assume a polyester but that is just an educated guess. The fibers are a bit longer than some of the blankets I won, sort of a fake fur that is soft and luxurious. It does not have any odors like some synthetic fabrics can have.The top of the blanket has a lovely waffle design, while the underside is plain with no design to it. So far this blanket has lived up to my expectations and is the perfect weight for the spring and summer months. I'd say the value is average, I've seen more and less expensive blankets.

Then I took it to bed.If you're a certain age you might get hotter than an air fryer every hour and throw off all your bedding, possibly annoying your significant other at 2 AM. I tried sleeping on top of my comforter with only this blanket. Perfect! Where I live the weather has been crazy. Hot then cold and back again but this blanket is the perfect weight in every temperature. I slept so well and so did my boyfriend.My roommates cat even came to my room to visit. She concluded it's a great for a nap and agreed with my 5 stars. Great for making biscuits in circles for an hour before a full days sleep, she says.This blanket is perfect. Period. It's a soft neutral sage or medium seafoam green that works great for most decor. The color just doesn't show well in the pictures I took so I tried adding some recognizable colors for comparison.The seams are solid, no loose threads and has exactly the level of warmth and fluff I want to feel comfortable. It doesn't have that weird feeling that sticks to dry skin either. It's just plain soft.My ONLY complaint is it doesn't come in king or more colors. I'll be carrying this around like Linus!
